Thank you for joining us on Saturday December 9th, 2023, in ISA Science City for the annual ISA Festival. As we enjoy this mild winter, we reflect on how quickly time seems to have passed, and how rapidly the seasons have changed. This year the theme of the ISA festival was ‘New Horizons’. We used this opportunity to showcase the infinite possibilities of technology and the infinite opportunities that lie ahead in the future. Students and their families, teachers, guests from consulates, business chambers, enterprises and other industries gathered to enjoy a spectacular carnival atmosphere featuring demonstrations of technology, stage performances, charitable activities, and ‘flash mob’ dances.
ISA Charity Fund, in collaboration with ISA schools, organises a series of charity month activities every year to promote the concept and spirit of public welfare. The fund not only provides financial support but also actively participates in these activities, encouraging ISA students to engage in community service and promoting the power of charity.
Every year ISA Science City celebrate international anti-bullying week in November. We join a community of schools and organizations throughout the world that follow the yearly theme to help raise awareness around bullying and how it can be prevented. A common message is to speak out against bullying, to not be a by-stander, to take action if you see it or hear about it.
On the afternoon of 12th November, Mr. Chao Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director General of Wuhan Municipal Education Bureau, who attended the "2023 Wuhan and the Greater Bay Area Enterprises and Wuhan Alumni Symposium" in Guangzhou, visited ISA Guangzhou Science City International School for investigation and research.
Exciting news has arrived from ISA Science City! Our Grade 12 students, Jill and Jackie, had outstanding achievements in the China Region of the Global Academician Challenge 2023. This competition was organized by Kinglead and involved collaboration with scholars and experts from prestigious universities such as Harvard, Cambridge, and Oxford. Jill was awarded the second prize, and Jackie received the third prize.
On 10-11 November 2023, the RAISE2023 6th Asian International Schools Conference and 30 Years of International Schools Awards Ceremony was held in Hong Kong, China. As the flagship school of ISA International Education Group, ISA Science City School for Children of Expatriates was honoured with the "Special Sharing Award (School)" at the ceremony!
